A gentle shake stirs up a flurry of sparkling glitter and with a press of a button the globe\\\'s interior illuminates while a medley of 8 holiday carols begins to play, including \\\"Deck the Halls\\\" and \\\"Joy to the World.\\\" A convenient 24-hour timer automatically turns the lights in the snowglobe on and off at the same time every night. But that\\\'s just the beginning. On the base of this musical snowglobe is a fully sculpted and meticulously hand-painted Thomas Kinkade Victorian village laden with snow - fondly reminiscent of the artist\\\'s beloved holiday paintings. Most fascinating of all is an old-fashioned steam train that actually rotates around the village! The entire masterpiece is presented on a handsome wood-toned base with a golden title plaque for a rich finishing touch.
