Under the cover of darkness on May 17, 1943, Operation Chastise began. There had never been a mission quite like it. The Lancaster bombers that were used that night, piloted by the highly skilled and courageous members of the RCAF and RAF, had been modified to accommodate the specially designed \"bouncing bombs\" that would prove to be so successful in the attack on the German industrial stronghold. Now, to honour the success of the mission that helped the Allies win the war, we introduce The Dambusters Men\'s Watch, a fine jewellery design available exclusively from The Bradford Exchange.

Expertly handcrafted with rich gold-toned plating, this stainless-steel chronograph watch showcases original artwork of the Lancaster aircraft and a golden maple leaf at the 12 o-clock position on its face, along with three subdials for seconds, minutes and hours. This WWII jewellery features a stopwatch function, accurate quartz movement to keep perfect time and a genuine leather band to ensure a comfortable fit. Plus, on the back, a schematic drawing of the Lancaster aircraft is etched along with the words, \"The Dambusters 80th Anniversary Operation Chastise\" and the watch\'s individual number.

Watch face measures 4.3 cm in diameter; band adjusts to fit most wrists.
